It’s a new variant of the Lava Iris X1, which is the brand’s first Android 4.4 KitKat running smartphone. Priced at Rs 4,348, the Iris X1 Minicompetes against the likes of the Micromax Canvas Fire A093 in India.
Both the devices will remain on Android 4.4 KitKat forever. In the sub-Rs 5,000 segment, the Iris X1 Mini and Canvas Fire A093 will offer stiff competition to each other with 4-inch displays. The Lava Iris X1 Mini and Canvas Fire A093, both the smartphones are loaded with almost similar specifications under the hood, and are offered in the same price range. The Micromax Canvas Fire A093 is currently selling online for around Rs 5,000, and the Iris X1 Mini is up for grabs on several online retailers for Rs 4,299. In terms of pricing, the Lava Iris X1 Mini is a better deal over the Canvas Fire.
